    Operational support has been phenomenal. Everyone at support staff helps you like they own the business, and if they don’t have an immediate answer they will find the right person who can help.

    Wings Etc. startup and operating costs are economical compared to similar full-service brands with 40 or more stores in operation. Something I love about this company is that they will work with each franchisee to make planning, opening and operating more cost-effective, without compromising the brand position or value.

    Wings Etc. is a brand that is based on true family values, both in the dining room and in business philosophy. I have felt like I am at home when meeting any other franchisee or staff member from Wings Etc. Everyone makes you feel very comfortable. I personally feel it’s a mutual partnership, with the common goal of growth and prosperity for everyone involved—both the franchise owner and the franchise company.

    This is a brand that is growing at a fast-but-steady pace, and the team running it knows what the franchisee’s goal is. They are dedicated to helping me achieve it. This is a great time to join the Wings Etc. system, and to be part of something that I believe is going to be ‘big.

    Our guests love the food, love the staff, and love watching the game with an ice cold beverage! We have guests that come in 7 days a week because they love it so much! My favorite guest comment is: ‘Where did all these people go before they started coming here?’

    Being in business for ourselves was (and is) a scary prospect. Once we met with Wings Etc. we knew we would be much better off with them than trying to go it alone.

    The cost saving alone through negotiated food purchasing is worth the royalties, we believe. And knowing that they want us to succeed as much as we do makes for a fantastic business partnership.

    The most important thing to us is that Wings allows us to be ourselves, but still be a part of a community.     We built the first Wings Etc. in Ohio, so many guests were first timers to this franchise.  They LOVE the wings and everything else on the menu! Every week we hear someone express how glad they are to have us in town and that we knock the socks off of BW’s! On top of great food, Wings team has placed great importance on service, and that truly shows. Guests are grateful for the amount of time and effort we put into making their experience a great one!

    We would never have tried this on our own! Wings Etc. support team has spent and continues to spend much time improving an already successful system/chain. Our hard work and determination, along with their guidance and business tools, has helped make us successful restaurant owners.

    Daily and weekly reports keep you on track as an owner and manager. Goals are set and you and your team are trained and coached how to get the numbers there and keep them there. We use these numbers to reward our team as well as catch red flags. Our managers can also use the POS system to determine labor costs quickly and manage team members as needed, in order to maximize efficiency while ensuring a great guest experience.

    DO IT!! Wings Etc. has a wonderful corporate team that will help you to succeed. You have to be willing to be involved: they don’t run it for you (after all, it is YOURS)! The design and ‘theme’ of the restaurant is family friendly and unique. Our guests vary from kids, parents, grandparents, college students, business people, local trades people to service industry people. Everyone enjoys themselves and comes for a variety of reasons. It is great!

    What a wonderful experience it has been to be the owner of a Wings Etc. franchise.

    I will have to say, when we started this venture of opening our Wings Etc. pub, I was very hesitant. Neither my husband nor I had any knowledge of the restaurant business.

    It has been over seven years now and I wouldn’t change a thing. This experience has been a joy to our family.     I had never been in a sports bar like Wings, Etc. I fell in love with the fun, laid back atmosphere and the food. It’s a place for everyone: families, college kids, professionals, couples, office groups, even bikers!

    As a restaurant operator I was very impressed by the operations and training offered to new franchisees. With the help of strong corporate pre-opening training, and grand opening support we have been able to open multiple Wings Etc. restaurants and to offer a great sports bar experience to our guests.

    I always knew I wanted to own a restaurant at some point—wasn’t quite sure exactly which one. I wanted to know if there were any Wings Etc. restaurants down in the Indianapolis market, and there were only a couple of them opened in the Indy market at that time.

    So, we started looking into it; it made sense, it felt right, it felt like home. We pretty much knew it as customers. That’s when it began.

    The corporate guys are always there for me…always available with whatever questions we have. It was a good experience.

    I believe that, in order to be able to train your servers well, you’ve got to understand what it’s like to be a server. You have to be a guest, you have to go out to restaurants…

    You don’t know everything. You never will. You learn constantly. You have to have an open mind, you have to keep learning, and keep your ego in check and know that you don’t know everything!
